Walking Notes emerges from my ongoing engagement with walking as a durational and perceptual practice. Through repeated walks across familiar streets and passageways, I translate the fleeting experience of movement into visual and material form. Each photograph becomes both trace and evidence — a fragment of my journey shaped by rhythm, distance and the contingencies of light. Using a 35mm analog camera, I embrace slowness and chance as integral to my process. The delayed revelation of the image during film development mirrors the unfolding of each walk — both governed by uncertainty, waiting and reflection. For me, walking is not merely an act of locomotion but a method of perceiving and inhabiting space, a way of mapping the everyday through sensory attention. A small notebook accompanies me throughout this process serving as a field record of impressions, times and directions. These written fragments, together with the photographs trace the ephemeral relationship between body, place and perception. Walking Notes transforms the ordinary act of movement into an aesthetic inquiry into presence, temporality and the art of noticing.
